OUR BEGINNING
Valley Girl Vineyards began conception in 2002. We had the yard, we had the
money, so let's put in a Pinot Noir Vineyard.
Since we know our limitations we hired a Vineyard Manager, Alvaro Casas to put
the vineyard. It broke ground in 4/2003. He was amazing! He did it all by hand
because there isn't any way to get power tools down there.
By the end of the season we had a vineyard of 151 Pinot Noir vines. The vines are
clone 1103p grafted onto 375 rootstock. It is Entav-Inra clones.
